First off a HUGE apology for being MIA for the last month. I broke my dominant hand and haven’t even been able to put makeup on let alone type out a blog post. *cries into hands* But I’m on the mend now and can one finger type with my right hand, so prepare for me to do some catching up!
So first on the agenda, Anastasia. Now having both the Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveler palette and the Contour Cream kit I couldn’t wait to create a look using both of these amazing products!
So this is my full face shot. On my skin I started with Mac Prep + Prime Radiance and followed with Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation. This gave me a good base to add my contour colours on to. With reference to the image to the left, I then proceeded to put the Cream Contour Kit in the shade Banana on my highlight areas, and Cinnamon on my contour zones, with a little Chocolate in the deepest part of my cheek bones. You can read my full review of the contour kit >here<.
I set this look with Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent Setting Powder on my contour zones and Ben Nye Banana Powder on my highlighted areas. After a little blush and highlighter my skin felt perfect.
As always I started off with none other than my Anastasia Dipbrow pomade in my new shade Chocolate to match my newly lightened chocolate-brown hair. For my warm smokey eye I wanted to create something really dramatic. I used Morocco as my transition shade, Fudge in my crease and Noir all over my lid and along the lower lash line. I then dabbed a little of Chic in my tear duct and finished off with a pair of Absolute Minx real mink false eyelashes. You can read my full review of this beautiful palette >here<.
And why not throw a cheeky selfie in of my beautiful friend Evie, who you may remember from my last post, and myself. I absolutely love how flawless our skin looks! Such a change from a few hours earlier with a bare face and messy bun. Oh, the power of makeup. <3
